The Animal Humane Association of New Mexico is very pleased to announce its relationship with Art Gallery 66 artist, Darryl Willison - and to celebrate the occasion, Darryl has created a new and wonderful original pastel drawing called “Give leash a chance”! Darryl’s original pastel drawing of his character “Peace DOG” is published as open edition prints, t-shirts and posters. Sales of all items help to raise money for the AHANM! Please help us help them raise the necessary money to keep New Mexico critters safe and healthy!
Darryl Willison and Art Gallery 66 have teamed up with the AHANM to create other new art originals and published prints to benefit the association. This exciting relationship of art and animals is a year round project, making great new images available for sale via the internet, as well as at Art Gallery 66 located at 373 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, New Mexico.
Since Darryl’s work is so diverse, original drawings will be created and then considered for publishing in one of several different formats. They can be offered as open prints, or limited edition giclees, decorative pins and possibly clothing and other commercially licensed products that will benefit the animals of New Mexico.
Because we consider the Land Of Enchantment, as the art capital of the world, it only makes sense to utilize a “natural resource” such as Darryl’s artwork that captures the joy and whimsy of the west as well as animals in support of the AHANM.
Art created to benefit the AHANM is marketed and promoted as a shared responsibility between the three entities. Darryl will be designing art exclusive to the AHANM, making it very collectable and unique to the association, which is very exciting! Those of you familiar with Darryl’s work know that his use of vibrant color and humor naturally attracts a wide audience of viewers making it hard to resist the purchase of his art.
