RCI was founded in 1958 as the New Mexico Rehabilitation Center, serving children and adults with physical, developmental and/or behavioral challenges. Their mission is to improve the abilities, interests, and choices of children and adults with physical. developmental or behavioral challenges toward achieving their highest levels of self-suffiency.
