Currently an art teacher in Albuquerque, NM. After studying art for many years as a hobby, and later to prepare to teach art, she has been able to synthesize her love of color, drawing, quilting, and humor into a very unique style of folk art.

Del’s current style of artwork began to take shape in 1999 while watching a videotape on abstraction with her students. She gets her ideas and inspiration from her students and accepting the world through her own particular translation.
